Faith-Driven—Economic Development Training
—economic growth, that’s grown and produced in the community
COMMUNITY | FAITH-DRIVEN |
GRASSROOTS | ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT | TRAINING
Our regional, independently ran, faith-driven, grassroots economic development training, called, “Kingdom-Grown,” will provide basic, community economic development training, which will equip emerging entry level, economic development practitioners, with a primary foundation to economic development and growth.
Leaders are equipped with the skills they need, to lead grass-roots, long-term economic growth, in their community and region. Kingdom-Grown is for those community leaders, who are committed to regional ventures and collaboration.
Leaders will gain an understanding of the importance of using a regional lens for developing long-term, sustainable solutions to common challenges to economic growth in their region.
Leaders will also learn how to apply these tools and skills needed, to address the critical issues of racial equity, leadership, resiliency, and community economic development.
According to Kingdom Principles, there are two main fundamental principles that make great leaders:
THEIR WAY OF THINKING: which is vital because they guide, influence, and direct others according to the way they think and see things.
HOW THEY SERVE OTHERS: they invests their life to serve others out of love—service, not their status.
Offered throughout the year, our basic Homegrown Grassroots, Economic Growth training will be virtual, covering both key topics and specialized issues; sessions are designed to be interactive and provide a faith-based perspective with a focus on real life experiences, best practices, and tools you can use in your community.
